Help: How to get a Google Generative Language API Key
Follow these steps to obtain your API key for using the AI features. This key needs to be entered in the WordPress admin settings for PromptMaster AI.
- Go to the Google AI Studio website.
- Sign in with your Google account.
- Once signed in, you should see an option to “Create API Key”. Click on it.
- Your new API key will be generated and displayed. Copy this key.
- **In your WordPress Admin Dashboard, navigate to “PromptMaster AI” settings.**
- Paste the copied API key into the “Your API Key” field on that page.
- Click “Save Settings”.
Your API key will be stored securely on your server and is not sent to any external servers by this application directly from the client.
